Lauris Coggin was promoted to the role of U18s Lead Coach in July 2024.

The University of Bath sports performance graduate was a promising player himself, spending two years as a scholar at Southend United between 2005-07.

He returned to the Shrimpers seven years later as an Academy Coach, spending two years at Roots Hall before joining West Ham United as a Foundation Phase Coach for the U9-U12 age groups in 2016.

Since then, Coggin’s career progression has seen him move up to Youth Development Phase in 2018, working with U13s-U16s, before being appointed U18s Assistant Coach in summer 2023.

Coggin worked under the expert guidance of FA Youth Cup-winning U18s Lead Coach Kevin Keen in 2023/24, helping the young Hammers finish second in U18 Premier League South.
