Gerard Prenderville is an U21s Assistant Coach, working alongside Steve Potts to support U21s Lead Coach Mark Robson.

Prenderville previously worked in a special needs school, where he began his coaching career.

He joined the Academy of Football and has worked his way up, working in the Youth Development phase with U12-U16 players before being promoted to the Professional Development phase, where he coaches U17s-U23s.

Prenderville was part of the West Ham United U18s coaching team in 2022/23, when Kevin Keen’s side won the FA Youth Cup and U18 Premier League South double, and has played an integral role in the development of a number of future first-team players.
