Born into a West Ham United family, Billy Lepine played in goal for Dagenham & Redbridge in the FA Youth Cup during a two-year scholarship at Victoria Road between 2006-08.
On departing the Daggers in 2008 – the same year he left Barking & Dagenham College with a BTech in Sports and Exercise – Lepine joined West Ham’s Academy of Football as a goalkeeping coach.
He has since worked his way up through the Academy coaching ranks to be appointed as Head of Academy Goalkeeping, a role he combines with that of U21s Goalkeeping Coach.
A UEFA A Licence holder, Lepine has played a leading role in the development of a number of goalkeepers who have represented their respective national teams at age-group level, including Nathan Trott, Joseph Anang, Rihards Matrevics, Jacob Knightbridge, Finlay Herrick, Dondre Abraham and Lanre Awesu.
