Head Analyst and Assistant Coach Juan Vicente Peinado – known as Juanvi – was born in the Spanish capital Madrid in June 1973.
Juanvi started his career as a goalkeeper coach at lower division clubs Trival Valderas, CD Mostoles and CD Leganés in the early to mid-2000s.
In 2006, he joined Real Madrid’s youth academy as a coach, managing the U18s and later assisting with the club’s reserve team, Castilla. After two seasons coaching Villarreal’s U19s between 2009-11, Juanvi took on his first senior managerial role with fifth-tier Alcobendas CF.
He then moved to Rayo Vallecano, where he coached the B team, winning promotion in his first season, 2013/14, then managed CD Móstoles and assisted at Rayo Majadahonda before moving to Sevilla as part of Julen Lopetegui’s backroom staff in summer 2019.
There, he worked as a technical coach and analyst, before joining Lopetegui again at Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2022, this time as assistant coach.
