Technical Coach Edu Rubio spent the first part of the 2022/23 season as West Ham United’s Women’s team assistant manager.
The UEFA Pro Licence holder coached at Valencia’s Academy before moving to England to study for a Masters degree in sports psychology at the University of Roehampton in west London.
Rubio then combined further coaching education with The FA with practical experience at the Academies of MK Dons and Chelsea and the Nike Academy at St George's Park.
He worked as first-team assistant head coach at Crawley Town in 2019/20, then as an Academy coach at Crystal Palace before his short spell with West Ham, assisting Paul Konchesky.
Rubio joined Julen Lopetegui at Wolverhampton Wanderers as a first-team coach in November 2022.
