Tuva Hansen joined West Ham United women's team on Wednesday 28 January 2026.
Hansen, whose father, sister and brother have all played professionally, spent a decade plying her trade in her native Norway with Klepp, Arna-Bjørnar and SK Brann - captaining the latter to back-to-back top-flight titles. In January 2023, she joined Bayern Munich and won three successive league titles with the German club, whilst also competing in the UEFA Women’s Champions League. On the international stage, Hansen has made 60 senior appearances for Norway and scored a stunning goal against Belgium to take her country to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She went on to make four appearances at the tournament in Australia and New Zealand, and played every minute at UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 last summer.
