Part of a family of West Ham fans, Riley Hargan has been at the West Ham United Academy since the age of six.
An intelligent central midfielder, who possesses close control and a varied passing range, Hargan signed Scholarship terms ahead of 2023/24.
He scored his first goal for the U18s on the last day of the 2023/24 Premier League South season against Tottenham Hotspur and followed it up by scoring on the opening day of the 2024/25 season against Arsenal.
Hargan started the Premier League Cup final for the Hammers as they ran out 2-1 winners at Reading's Select Car Leasing Stadium to become just the fifth team to win the competition at U18s level. Just a few weeks later, Hargan put pen to paper on his first professional contract at Rush Green Training Ground ahead of transitioning into the U21s set up.
