At the Academy since U12s, Vinnie Perkins is a strong right-sided defender who is comfortable as a centre-back or full-back.

Tenacious in the tackle and good at reading the game, Perkins consistently displays real leadership qualities.

He made his debut for Lauris Coggin's U18s in a 3-1 league defeat to Reading in April 2025, then signed his scholarship in July of the same year.
