Seraina Piubel joined West Ham United on 9 September 2024, signing a three-year contract in east London. 

The attacking midfielder made the switch from FC Zürich in her native Switzerland, where she had become a key player. During her 10-year association with the Club, Piubel had made over 65 appearances for the team, which included a number in the UEFA Women's Champions League.

For Switzerland, Piubel has been capped 20 times, including at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup where she scored in a 2-0 group-stage victory over the Philippines.
