Spain international midfielder Carlos Soler joined West Ham United on a season-long loan from Paris Saint-Germain in late August 2024.

Born in Valencia, Soler joined his eponyomous hometown club at the age of eight, debuted at 19, went on to play over 200 times and win the Copa del Rey in 2019. Soler moved to PSG in summer 2022 and won two Ligue 1 titles, a Coupe de France and a Trophée des Champions.

A UEFA European U21 Championship title winner in 2019 and 2020 Olympic Silver medalist, Soler scored on his senior Spain debut in 2021 and was part of his country's squad at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Born in Valencia in Spain on 2 January 1997...Joined local club Bonrèpos after impressing coaches while taking shots on the pitch at half-time and being offered a Nintendo Game Boy by his grandfather if he signed up...Joined Valencia CF at the age of eight in 2005 and acted as a ball boy and carried their flag at European games at their Mestalla home...Made his senior debut with Valencia’s B team in the third tier Segunda Division B in May 2015, when he was just 18...Made his first-team debut for Valencia in a 3-2 La Liga defeat at Real Sociedad in December 2016...Scored his first La Liga goal in January 2017, helping Valencia to a 2-0 derby win over Villarreal...Part of the Valencia team which defeated Barcelona 2-1 in the 2019 Copa del Rey final in Seville...Soler became just the third player to score a hat-trick of penalties in a single La Liga game on 8 November 2020, when he netted all three of his spot-kicks for Valencia against Thibaut Courtois to seal a memorable 4-1 win over Real Madrid at the Mestalla...Played alongside Pablo Fornals as Spain won the UEFA European U21 Championship in Udine, Italy in summer 2019...Appeared in Spain's 2020 Olympic Games final defeat by Brazil in Tokyo, Japan...Scored on his senior debut for Spain in a FIFA World Cup qualifier in Sweden in September 2021...Joined Paris Saint-Germain in August 2022...Featured twice for Spain at the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals in Qatar...Won the Ligue 1 title in his first season, 2022/23...Did the French domestic double with PSG and won the Trophée des Champions in 2023/24.
