Inès Belloumou joined West Ham United from German club Bayern Munich in July 2024, signing a three-year contract, and was immediately loaned to Italian side SS Lazio for the 2024/25 season.

The French left-back started her career with hometown club Martigues before joining Olympique de Marseille Féminin in 2016. Two years later, she moved to Montpellier HSC, where she spent five seasons and appeared regularly in the top flight. She spent the 2023/24 campaign with Bayern.

Belloumou has been capped by France at U16, U17, U19, U20 and U23 level, playing over 25 times for Les Bleues.

Born on 21 June 2001 in Martigues on France’s south coast…Is the youngest of six children, two of whom are also footballers…Joined local club FC Martigues at the age of five…Moved to nearby Olympique de Marseille Féminin in 2016, the same year she enrolled at the National Institute of Sport, Expertise, and Performance [INSEP] in Paris, and travelled from the capital back to Marseille for matches at weekends…Made her first-team debut for Marseille on 18 May 2018, aged 16, in a Division 1 Féminine defeat by Olympique Lyonnais…Joined Division 1 Féminine club Montpellier on a free transfer in June 2018, before signing her first professional contract in September 2019…Totalled 64 appearances across four seasons with Montpellier, including 60 in Division 1 Féminine…Joined German side Bayern Munich in July 2023 and made 12 appearances for the club in her single season there, including two in the UEFA Women’s Champions League...Capped by France at U16, U17, U19, U20 and U23 level since debuting in 2017, playing over 25 times for Les Bleues.
