Experienced goalkeeper Wes Foderingham joined West Ham United on a two-year contract on 1 July 2024.
Foderingham arrived in east London following four seasons with Sheffield United, who helped win promotion to the Premier League in 2022/23 and featured 30 times in the English top-flight in 2023/24.
A trophy winner at both Swindon Town and Scottish club Rangers, a Football League Golden Glove and Premier League Save of the Month winner, Foderingham has played nearly 500 senior matches during a successful career both sides of the border.

Born in Hammersmith and raised in Shepherd’s Bush, west London...Played as a goalkeeper in an indoor tournament at Westway Sports Centre, where he attracted the attention of Fulham, who signed him as a nine-year-old in 2000...Was a Newcastle United fan in his youth despite his ties to the capital, and his first goalkeeping hero was Magpies No1 Shay Given...Started England U16s' 1-0 win over Spain at the newly opened Wembley Stadium in April 2007...Joined National League South club Bromley on loan from Fulham in spring 2010...Released by Fulham in summer 2010 and joined Bromley...Impressed in a pre-season appearance for Bromley and was signed by Crystal Palace on a two-year contract in July 2010...Spent spells on loan from Crystal Palace at non-league clubs Boreham Wood and Histon in 2010/11...Joined EFL League Two club Swindon Town on loan in October 2011, before making the transfer pemanent in January 2012...Kept 24 clean sheets across all competitions and won the EFL League Two Golden Glove award to help Paolo Di Canio's Swindon Town win promotion in 2011/12...Named in the League One PFA Team of the Year in 2013/14...Departed Swindon Town in summer 2015 to join Scottish club Rangers on a three-year contract....Won the Scottish Championship and Challenge Cup double in his first season with Rangers in 2015/16, playing under future West Ham United coach Mark Warburton...Joined Sheffield United in summer 2020, but waited until the following season, 2021/22, to make his league debut for the Blades...Helped Sheffield United win promotion from the EFL Championship in 2022/23...Made his Premier League debut for Sheffield United at home to Crystal Palace in August 2023...Totaled 111 appearances across four seasons with Sheffield United before departing when his contract at Bramall Lane expired in May 2024.
