Katrina Gorry is a highly-decorated, vastly-experienced Australia international midfielder who joined West Ham United in January 2024.
The Brisbane native played professionally in her homeland with Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United, moved to Canada with Ottawa Fury, then returned home with Brisbane Roar. She played in the United States with FC Kansas City and Utah Royals, Japan with Vegalta Sendai, Norway with Avaldsnes IL, and Sweden with Vittsjö GIK, returning to Roar twice on loan.
Capped over 100 times by the Matildas, Gorry has been to seven major tournaments with her country, and has also won a host of individual awards.

Born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, on 13 August 1992…Played junior football for local club Mount Gravatt…Spent the 2009/10 and 2011/12 seasons with A-League Women club Melbourne Victory, either side of spending the 2010/11 campaign with Adelaide United…Won the North American W-League title with Canadian club Ottawa Fury in 2012…Made her senior debut for Australia in a 3-0 defeat by then-world champions Japan in Tokyo on 11 July 2012…Returned to Australia with Brisbane Roar for the 2012/13 A-League season, before later returning to the club twice on loan after moving to Europe later in her career…Played in all five games and scored thee goals as Australia were edged out 1-0 in the 2014 AFC Women's Asian Cup final...Won the 2014 AFC Women's Player of the Year and FFA Women's Player of the Year awards…Had short spells with FC Kansas City, where she won the 2014 NWSL Championship, and Utah Royals in the United States, and with Vegalta Sendai in Japan…Appeared in four of Australia’s five matches at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup finals…Appeared at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup finals as Australia reached the round of 16…Moved to Norwegian club Avaldsnes IL in January 2020 and finished third in the Toppserien that year…Gave birth to daughter Harper in August 2021…Joined Swedish Damallsvenskan club Vittsjö GIK in 2022…Prepared for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup finals on home turf by returning to Brisbane Roar, before heading back to Vittsjö GIK to complete the 2023 summer season…Helped Australia finish fourth at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup finals, making the highest number of tackles and covering the most ground of any player throughout the tournament.
