Türkiye international Halle Houssein initially joined West Ham United from Arsenal on dual-registration in January 2022, before making the move permanent in June of the same year.
The midfielder scored on her Hammers debut in a FA Women's League Cup quarter-final tie against Chelsea on 9 January 2022, before making her Women's Super League debut for the Club in a 3-0 home win over Everton a fortnight later. After spending time on loan at Gillingham and Reading, Houssein signed a new professional contract with West Ham in July 2023.
Houssein was capped by England at age-group level by England before switching her international allegiance and making her senior debut for Türkiye in a UEFA Women's Euro 2025 qualifying tie with Switzerland on 12 July 2024.
