On This Day: Di Canio and Sinclair spark Manchester City rout

Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with RoadX Tyres...

West Ham United thrashed Manchester City 4-1 in the Premier League on this day in 2000.

Spencer Prior put the visitors in front at the Boleyn Ground and City went in ahead at half-time, but Harry Redknapp's Hammers turned things around after the break with four unanswered goals.

Steve Lomas equalised against his old club, before future City player Trevor Sinclair put the Irons in front from Michael Carrick's pass.

Ian Pearce made it 3-1 before Paolo Di Canio's late penalty completed a rousing come-from-behind victory.
