What’s your favourite Polish restaurant in London? [email protected]

“I really like a restaurant called Ognisko Polskie, which isn’t far from the Royal Albert Hall.”

What is your favourite Polish food and Polish tradition? [email protected]

“My favourite food for sure is Pierogi. And my favourite time of year is Christmas Eve. Like many Poles, I was raised as Catholic, and we always give out our gifts on Christmas Eve. It’s a really special time, and we cook 12 dishes. Bread counts as a dish though - it’s not like you have 12 meals!”

What is the best thing about east London? [email protected]

“I love the Elizabeth Line! It means I can get into central London really easily from where I live, and even to Heathrow Airport. There are loads of nice parts of east London, with countryside vibes.”

Who is a goalkeeper you have either worked with or have watched that you think isn’t appreciated enough? [email protected]

“I think everyone gets recognised in some way. I thought the Georgia goalkeeper, Giorgi Mamardashvili, did very well at UEFA Euro 2024 - I know he’s done well for his club for a long time, but his performances at a big tournament meant he got a bit more recognition.”

If you could play in any game from history which one would it be and why? [email protected]

“I’d love to replay the penalty shootout against Portugal in the UEFA Euro 2016 quarter-finals, which I lost with Poland.”

What’s it like for a goalkeeper when a new Head Coach comes in? @charlieb_whu

“For me personally, the start to this season has been one of the most different and demanding ones I’ve had. When the Head Coach came in in the summer, us goalkeepers spent a lot of time working together with the whole team, almost as outfield players, because he puts a lot of emphasis on building up from the back and keeping possession.”

What is it about West Ham that makes players want to stay at the Club for a long period of time? @scheldty

“I think we’ve progressed massively over the last few seasons, and the way we’re perceived has changed because we’ve performed consistently. We’ve had some disappointing seasons, but we’re constantly trying to grow and improve, and that sort of environment is a pleasure to be a part of.”
