Who is the toughest attacker you’ve ever had to defend against? Jacob
“I think Luis Suárez during training, and in a game I would say both Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martínez when I played against them, as they’re both very good players. They were both playing for Inter Milan at that point.”
Who are the best and worst dressers in the West Ham squad and why? George Hutchinson
“We’ve got a lot of good dressers in the changing room and a lot of different styles. For me, everyone has their own style that they suit, so there isn’t a particularly bad dresser. Everyone’s always looking smart.”

What’s the biggest difference between London and the other cities you’ve lived in? Frankie
“London is the main city; it is the capital and the largest city in the United Kingdom. At my previous clubs, I’ve never lived in the capital of that specific country, so it’s been different, but I am enjoying it for sure.”
What were the reasons for you wanting to join West Ham? Theo Brixey
“The project that was presented by the Club was a very exciting one that I wanted to be a part of. The Club showed a lot of love towards me, which was important as well.”
How did the players and staff help you settle in at the Club? Any specific examples? Lewis
“All of the players and staff helped me settle in seamlessly on the pitch, while off the pitch a lot of credit has to go to the Player Care team as they took care of me and my family and managed everything for me. I managed to settle in a short space of time, and I am very grateful for that.”

What has been your favourite moment at West Ham so far? William
“I would say my best moment at West Ham so far was the game against Brentford [in September 2024], as it was my first Premier League start and a great moment in my career.”
Who is your best friend in the team? Henry Glenn
“I have four guys that I’m really close with - Alphonse [Areola], Cry [Summerville], Aaron [Wan-Bissaka] and Mo [Kudus].”
How does the Premier League compare to the other divisions you’ve played in during your career? Marcus Dein
“I would say the intensity of the Premier League is a lot higher than the other divisions I’ve played in throughout my career. There’s so much individual quality in every team in the Premier League.”

What’s the best or funniest thing you’ve noticed about British culture since you signed in the summer? Will Carson
“To be honest, there isn’t a lot of difference. There’s definitely a different culture with the way we eat and the way people are living, but I really feel like I am at home, and nothing’s really different for me.”
Who’s your favourite band or artist? Josh Peacock
“I don’t have one, sorry. To be honest, I’ve tried to stop listening to music, so when I do hear it in and around the changing room, I’m happy to listen to anything and follow the vibe of what everyone else wants.”
How many languages do you speak? Matthew Woodhead
“I speak four different languages. Spanish and Portuguese, which I’ve lost a bit as I’ve not spoken it for a while. I also speak English and French.”
