West Ham United women’s team have 12 players who could be in action for their respective countries during the second international break of the campaign.
With many players involved in UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 Play-Off final clashes, it is set to be another dramatic international window for the Hammers representatives.
Here’s everything you need to know about who will be playing over the course of the next week...
Who has been called up?
Two Hammers players are likely to go head-to-head on Friday, as Kirsty Smith and Oona Siren battle for a place at UEFA Women’s Euro 2025. Smith’s Scotland dispatched Hungary 5-0 in the two-legged Play-Off semi-final during the October international break, while Siren and Finland scored six unanswered goals across two games to ease past Montenegro.
Goalkeeper Kinga Szemik and Poland are a step closer to qualifying for their first-ever major tournament, with Austria standing in their way after 2-1 and 4-1 successes against Romania last month.
Meanwhile, Amber Tysiak once again joins up with Belgium as they look to secure qualification over two legs against Ukraine. The centre-back’s side reached the quarter-finals of Euro 2022.
Hammers loanee Jessie Stapleton, who is plying her trade with Barclays Women’s Championship side Sunderland this term, has a two-legged clash with Wales as the Republic of Ireland look to make sure they are one of the 16 teams competing in Switzerland next summer.
The host nation have two international friendlies across the next week, and Hammers attacker Seraina Piubel has earned a return to Switzerland’s squad for their tests against Germany and England.
Also in friendly action is Canada international Shelina Zadorsky, who will take on Iceland and South Korea, as well as Li Mengwen, who travels to face the Netherlands with China. Meanwhile, defender Camila Sáez has earned a return to Chile’s squad for their pair of friendlies with Uruguay.
