The Barclays Women’s Super League pauses for the first time in the 2023/24 season as players jet off to represent their respective nations on the international stage.
A total of ten West Ham United women’s team players have been called up and will feature in a number of different qualifying matches for upcoming tournaments.

Who has been called up?
As mentioned previously, ten players could be in action across the next seven days.
West Ham’s Japanese trio of Honoka Hayashi, Risa Shimizu and Riko Ueki have been selected for Nadeshiko’s three Olympic Qualifying matches against India, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
Mackenzie Arnold and Australia head down under for the first time since the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, as they also prepare for a trio of fixtures in Olympic Qualifying, where they will face Iran, the Philippines and Chinese Taipei.
Izzy Atkinson will hope to feature for Republic of Ireland in their UEFA Women’s Nations League fixtures against Albania, who they will face twice in five days. The same can be said for France's Viviane Asseyi and Scotland's Lisa Evans who will face off against Norway and the Netherlands respectively.
For England U23s, Emma Harries, Mel Filis and Anouk Denton have all been called up by Emma Coates for their European League fixtures against Italy and Portugal.
How can I watch players in action?
All of Australia's fixtures will be available to watch for free on the Football Australia YouTube channel.
Both of Scotland’s UEFA Women’s Nations League fixtures against the Netherlands will be shown on BBC Scotland/Alba, BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport Website.
No other fixtures involving Hammers are set to be televised in the UK. Round-ups of each game will be available at whufc.com.
