With West Ham United’s women’s team having drawn the curtain on their 2023/24 season at Tottenham Hotspur on 18 May, attentions have quickly turned to the international scene ahead of what promises to be an action-packed summer.

Read on for all the information you need to stay up-to-date with all the Hammers’ upcoming international goings-on…
Who has been called up?
A total of ten West Ham players have been called up to represent their respective nations since the end of the 2023/24 Barclays Women’s Super League campaign.
Captain and goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold has been called up by Australia for their friendly double-header against China, with matches taking place on Friday 31 May and Monday 3 June in Adelaide and Sydney respectively. Tony Gustavsson’s side are preparing for their upcoming Olympics campaign in Paris, which begins on 25 July.
Japan have opted to play two friendly matches against New Zealand in Murcia, Spain, ahead of the tournament. Risa Shimizu, Honoka Hayashi and Riko Ueki have all been called up. Matches will take place on 31 May and 3 June.
Canada will play Mexico in two friendly games on Saturday 1 June and Wednesday 5 June as they prepare for Paris. Shelina Zadorsky has been selected by Head Coach Bev Priestman.
Moving into UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 qualifying, Kirsty Smith has been selected by Scotland for two matches against Israel. Smith earned her 50th cap for her country in the previous international window and will be hoping to help Scotland to more points, after picking up four so far from games against Serbia and Slovakia. Matches will take place on 31 May in Glasgow and Tuesday 4 June on neutral ground in Hungary.
Amber Tysiak has been called up by Belgium for their double-header against Czech Republic. The Red Flames had a tough start to qualifying after losing heavily to Spain and being narrowly beaten by Denmark in April, so they will be hoping for better when they face the Czechs on 31 May in Prague and 4 June on home turf in Sint-Truiden.
In the same group, Emma Snerle and Denmark face the task of taking on current world champions Spain. The Danes have made a great start to qualifying after beating Czech Republic and Belgium, but they will face their toughest test in the games on 31 May in Viborg and 4 June in Tenerife.
Last but not least, Republic of Ireland have selected both Jess Ziu and Jessie Stapleton for their matches against Sweden on 31 May in Dublin and 4 June in Stockholm. Eileen Gleeson’s team were drawn into a tough group alongside the Swedes, France and current European champions England, and will be hoping to pick up their first points of the qualifying campaign.
Where can I watch the games?
Supporters will be able to watch both of Scotland's matches against Israel on BBC Scotland, BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport Website.
At the time of writing, no other fixtures involving West Ham United players look set to be broadcast live in the UK. Full round-ups of each game will be available at whufc.com.
