Two West Ham United women's team loanees were in action across the weekend.
Soraya Walsh scored her first ever senior goal as she produced a Player of the Match performance for Billericay Town in their 9-0 victory over Southampton Women in the FA Women’s National League Plate on Sunday.
The 17-year-old midfielder scored Billericay’s fifth goal of the afternoon just before half time, taking advantage of a stray pass to score. Walsh has featured five times for Billericay since joining the Club on dual registration terms at the end of September.
Speaking after the win, Walsh reflected on her goal and how happy she is to be getting minutes for the Essex based outfit.
“I was so happy to get my first goal for the Club. I think it was a really good performance from everyone. The effort from the whole team was good, everyone was really positive, and it was really enjoyable to be out on the pitch.
“[Billericay] is a really good Club, the girls are all lovely and I’m really enjoying my time here so far.”
Katie O’Hanlon, who is also on dual registration terms wasn’t involved in the fixture due to injury.

Over in Sweden, Katelin Talbert couldn’t help Djurgårdens IF avoid defeat against Växjö DFF on Sunday. American midfielder Larkin Russell netted twice for Växjö in the second half to win the match 2-0 for the home side.
Djurgårdens are without a win in their last four Damallsvenskan but will hope to turn things around when they face 13th placed Uppsala at home on Saturday 11 November.
Halle Houssein was an unused substitute for Reading in their 2-1 away defeat to Birmingham City in the Barclays Women’s Championship. Macey Nicholls and Hashtag United were without a fixture this weekend.
