West Ham United women’s team sealed their spot in the last eight of the Women’s League Cup on Wednesday night with a comfortable 3-0 beating of Southampton at Chigwell Construction Stadium.
Topping Group C with a scintillating 13 goals scored, the Hammers defeated Portsmouth, London City Lionesses and the Saints on their way to the quarter-finals of the competition - and now wait to see who they will face when the knockout stages commence.
Following the quarter-final draw, the draw will also be made for the semi-finals of the competition, with each quarter-final tie appointed a number that will represent the winner of that respective fixture.
