West Ham United's November internationals | All You Need To Know

The final international break of the 2024 is here, with several senior West Ham United players set for action around the globe.

With major international qualifiers and Nations League matches set to be played in all corners of the world, a variety of challenges await our Hammers.

Read on for the full lowdown of who will be playing where over the next week-and-a-bit.

Who has been called up?

As mentioned, a number of our players have had the call from their nations for this set of international fixtures.

West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen has been added to Lee Carsley’s Three Lions squad for the final two group-stage ties of the 2024/25 Nations League season during the November international window.

The 27-year-old was included in England’s squad for their opening two fixtures in September, appearing off the substitutes’ bench in 2-0 wins away in Ireland and at home to Finland. The Three Lions most likely need two victories to secure top spot and promotion back to League A, as they kick-off the final two match rounds on nine points, three behind Greece, who travel to Finland for their final fixture.

The top team in that same group is Greece, for whom Dinos Mavropanos will be in action against England and Finland, looking to help his country complete their UEFA Nations League Group B2 campaign with a 100 per cent record, after four wins from four so far.

Greece are already assured of at least a promotion play-off place, but are currently three points ahead of England in the ranks and will be aiming for an automatic ascension to League A.

Continuing in Europe, our Czech Republic duo of Tomáš Souček and Vladimír Coufal have been included in the squad for two vital UEFA Nations League B Group 1 ties.

The Czech Republic sit top of League B Group 1 going into the final round of fixtures and know two victories will see them promoted to League A for the 2026–27 UEFA Nations League.

Meanwhile, Lucas Paquetá and Brazil are set to return to FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifying in South America, looking to build on a positive October that yielded wins over Chile and Peru.

Dorival Júnior’s side currently sit fourth in the ten-team table, of which six qualify automatically for the finals in Canada, Mexico and the USA, and they will next take on Venezuela and Uruguay.

Edson Álvarez has been named in the Mexico squad for their two important CONCACAF Nations League quarter-final matches against Honduras. El Tri, who were beaten finalists in last year’s series after being edged out 2-1 by the USA in March, now resume their campaign, following an unbeaten run of friendlies throughout the last two international breaks in September and October.

Michail Antonio has been called up by Jamaica for two crucial CONCACAF Nations League quarter-final clashes. Two wins and two draws from their four Group B games earned Jamaica an automatic spot in the quarter-finals, with The Reggae Boyz set to take on the USA over two legs in the last eight.

In Africa, Mohammed Kudus and Ghana will hope to turn around their fortunes in Group F, following two draws and two defeats from their first four of six outings so far. The Black Stars will be playing Angola and Niger in their two final qualifiers, with a place in the finals in Morocco the ultimate prize.

Defender Nayef Aguerd, who is currently out on loan at Spanish La Liga side Real Sociedad, has been called up by Morocco for Africa Cup of Nations Group B qualifiers away at Gabon and at home to Lesotho. The Atlas Lions are top of their group with four wins from four, and have already qualified for the finals as the host nation.

Seventeen-year-old midfielder Gabriel Caliste could earn his third senior cap for Mauritius in an International Friendly fixture against Hong Kong, while Northern Ireland will have the Academy’s Callum Marshall - currently on loan at Huddersfield Town - in their ranks for Group C3 fixtures against Belarus and Luxembourg.

Northern Ireland are currently a point behind the aforementioned top two, having won three points from their opening two fixtures. With two games remaining, Northern Ireland hold their promotion destiny in their own hands, sitting top of the group with seven points from their four matches to date, with a return to League B for the first time since 2021 on the cards.

Where can I watch the games?

Coverage of this round of international fixtures appears to be fairly limited on UK television screens. However, England's UEFA Nations League matches against Greece and Republic of Ireland will both be broadcast live in the UK on ITV1.

Meanwhile, Hammers fans in the UK will be able to watch Brazil’s World Cup qualifier against Uruguay on Premier Sports.

How about our young Hammers?

A total of seven Academy stars have been called up for their countries at their various age groups for this international window. George Earthy has been promoted to the England U21 squad for friendly internationals in Spain and the Netherlands. Kaelan Casey is with the Men's Elite League squad (formerly U20s), Lewis Orford and Finlay Herrick are in the U19s, Emeka Adiele has been called up by the U18s, while first-year scholars Chinaza Nwosu and Lanre Awesu are in the U17s.

Elsewhere, Sean Moore is in the Republic of Ireland U21 squad for two fixtures against Sweden, and Josh Briggs has been called-up by Northern Ireland for three U19 fixtures against Denmark, Israel and Albania.
