West Ham United’s Premier League fixture amendments for the opening two months of the season have been confirmed, with new dates and times for four of our fixtures.
Our first home game of the new campaign – a mouthwatering London derby against Chelsea – will now be played on Sunday 20 August with kick-off at 4.30pm. This match will be broadcast live in the UK by Sky Sports.
The following weekend, the Hammers head to the South Coast to take on Brighton & Hove Albion. This match remains on Saturday 26 August, but will now kick-off at 5.30pm as it has also been selected for live broadcast in the UK by Sky Sports.
David Moyes’ men then face the short trip to Luton Town for a first-ever Premier League meeting between the two sides. This fixture completes a hat-trick of games shown live in the UK by Sky Sports and will be played on Friday 1 September with an 8pm kick-off.
Should Luton be scheduled to play in the Carabao Cup second round the preceding Wednesday, this fixture will move to Sunday 3 September at 12pm.
Our final fixture change for August and September sees us head to Anfield to face Liverpool on Sunday 24 September for a 2pm kick-off. This match moves due to the participation of both clubs in the UEFA Europa League the preceding Thursday.
