West Ham United return to Premier League action at London Stadium when Everton make the trip to east London.
The Hammers return to our home stadium for the first time since a 2-2 draw with Newcastle United at the start of October, having faced Greek side Olympiacos in UEFA Europa League action on Thursday.
David Moyes’ Irons sit ninth in the Premier League table, on 14 points from nine matches played, with the manager facing his former side on Sunday.
Everton, coached by Sean Dyche, occupy 16th place in the division, and have seven points from their nine games in the league so far this campaign.

Travel…
London Underground Jubilee and Central line services are scheduled to operate to Stratford with a good service on Sunday. The Docklands Light Railway is also anticipated to run as normal, with a good service.
The Elizabeth Line is scheduled to run with its regular service, too.
The London Overground will have part closures between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction, as well as between Richmond and Willesden Junction, while supporters are also advised that no services will run between Stratford and Camden Road after 10.15pm on Sunday evening.
Elsewhere on the Transport for London network, planned closures are anticipated on the Bakerloo Line and District Line, and supporters who make regular use of these services are advised to check their route before travelling on Sunday.
On the c2c services, there are planned engineering works between Upminster and Shoeburyness, with no services calling at either Stratford or Liverpool Street. Instead, these services will be diverted to West Ham and Fenchurch Street, respectively, and ticket acceptance will be in place on the Jubilee line between Stratford and West Ham.

Sir Bobby Charlton and Bill Kenwright tributes
West Ham United will come together with Everton prior to kick-off this Sunday to pay tribute to England’s 1966 World Cup winner Sir Bobby Charlton and former Toffees chairman Bill Kenwright CBE, who both sadly passed away this week.
Sir Bobby’s Three Lions teammate Sir Geoff Hurst will join David Moyes and Everton boss Sean Dyche pitchside as part of the tributes, prior to a minute’s applause to celebrate their lives.
West Ham United would like to express its sincere condolences to the loved ones of both Sir Bobby and Bill at this sad time.

Team News…
West Ham United will definitely be without full-back Emerson Palmieri. The defender picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in the defeat to Aston Villa and is suspended for Sunday’s fixture.
Everton, meanwhile, are also without a suspended player. Ashley Young was sent-off in the loss to Liverpool on Saturday and will miss the trip to London Stadium.
The Toffees have also been without experienced defender Seamus Coleman (knee) for an extended period, while midfielders Andre Gomes and Dele Alli are also still unavailable for selection due to injuries.
Opposition…
After a difficult couple of campaign, and flirtations with relegation, Everton fans will be hoping for a relatively straightforward season.
A 1-0 win over Bournemouth on the last day of last season ensured the Toffees remained in the Premier League, meaning Everton took their consecutive campaigns in the top tier of English football into a 70th year.
With Sean Dyche at the helm since January 2023, results have certainly steadily improved for the Blues. The summer transfer window saw the experienced Ashley Young join from Aston Villa, while forwards Beto and Youssef Chermiti have signed from Udinese and Sporting CP respectively. Add in the loan additions of Arnaut Danjuma and Jack Harrison, and manager Dyche has a collection of attacking options at his disposal at Goodison Park.
While early season results may not have gone the way Everton will have hoped, there are positives to find. Two wins in the last four matches have finally got victories on the board for the Blues who, as a team, have recorded 139 shots on goal so far this season – the fifth-most in the league and more than Arsenal, Newcastle United and Aston Villa.
Former Burnley boss Dyche is known for his calmness and experience, and these characteristics will likely prove important again as Everton seek to move away from the lower echelons of the division.
Previous Meetings…
There have been a fair few previous meetings between West Ham United and Everton.
The Irons and the Toffees will play each other for the 150th time on Sunday, making Everton one of West Ham’s most faced opponents in all competitions.
That very first encounter came all the way back in 1907, in the FA Cup, when the visitors to the Boleyn Ground claimed a 2-1 second round victory. History is indeed on Everton’s side, with the Blues winning the majority of fixtures between the two teams.
Recent history does favour the Hammers though, who won 2-0 at London Stadium against Everton back in January thanks to two first-half goals from Jarrod Bowen. The Irons also did the double over Everton in the 2021/22 season, winning 1-0 at Goodison Park and securing a 2-1 win at London Stadium in April 2022 thanks to another Bowen goal, and Aaron Cresswell’s finish.
Sunday’s match will be the 55th time the two sides have met in the Premier League.

Stuart Attwell has been named as the referee for our home Premier League meeting with Everton on Sunday.
Attwell began refereeing seriously following his graduation from Stafford University and worked his way up through the West Midlands League and National League before joining the Football League list of referees in 2007.
Attwell was fast-tracked, becoming the youngest-ever referee to control a Premier League fixture when he officiated Blackburn Rovers’ 1-1 draw with Hull City on 23 August 2008, and being added to the FIFA List later the same year at the age of just 26.
In 2010, Attwell officiated in the Japanese J. League as part of a referee exchange programme, and he has since refereed matches in the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League, Premier League, EFL and UEFA age-group tournaments.
Overall, the 41-year-old has refereed West Ham United 20 times in total since April 2008, including the corresponding fixture last season, which David Moyes’ side won 2-0.
