West Ham United has been shortlisted for three prizes at the prestigious Football Business Awards (FBAs) 2024.
The Club is a finalist in the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Award, the Best Digital/Social Media Team and the Women’s categories.
Launched in 2012, the Football Business Awards celebrate the very best in football business and attract 500 attendees to the ceremony each year. The judging panel is made up of Chief Executives of Football Clubs, Professional Football Associations & Grassroots Football Organisations – all individuals whose knowledge, expertise and experience gives them special insight into the challenges and demands of football business success. Designed to celebrate the vital influence of business within football the FBAs recognise the organisations, teams and individuals who excel in a variety of business, CSR and football governance disciplines.
The 2024 Awards Ceremony will take place at The Brewery in London on Friday 24 May, where the winners will be announced.
The Awards nominations comes off the back of a successful year on and off the pitch for the Hammers. In addition to the men’s team winning the UEFA Europa Conference League, the Club was awarded the Advanced level of the Premier League Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Standard in October 2023, recognising the Club’s ongoing dedication and commitment to equality, equity, diversity and inclusion.
It is the second time West Ham United has received the award, which is the top accolade that can be achieved by Premier League clubs, having first been presented with the Advanced level in 2020.
