West Ham United have launched a new Academy of Football Alumni Programme to further engage and re-connect former players with the Club.
The new initiative will act as an opportunity for past Academy players, who represented the Under 18 and Under 21 groups, to further engage with West Ham.
As part of the programme, the Club will also hold yearly Academy Alumni Events, providing a chance to re-connect with past teammates and meet others who have graduated from the Academy in recent years, as well as hearing from various guest speakers and organisations.
The Club’s records currently date back to 2019 – when the current transition support started – and so, to expand the database of potential Academy Alumni members we encourage former players to register their interest as soon as possible!
Former Hammers can complete an expression of interest from here or can email [email protected].
Academy Player Care Officer Evan Hall stated: "The Academy Alumni Programme is something we’re excited to begin.
"Its purpose is to build on our existing transition support for those departing the Academy to provide a mechanism for past Academy players to re-engage, re-connect with past teammates and gain inspiration from others’ career paths and successes.
“If any past Academy players are reading this article, please get in touch via the instructions provided as we are really interested to hear from you and explain more about the Alumni Programme.”
