The draw takes place on Monday 21 March 2022, at 18.30 BST. Supporters in the UK can watch the draw unfold live on the BBC News channel during the Sportsday show. The story so far?

The Hammers have had to negotiate three tricky ties to make it to the semi-finals of the competition.

Alongside the other teams in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League, West Ham United entered the competition at the fourth-round stage – being drawn against FA Championship side, Sheffield United. A brace from Claudia Walker and goals from Mel Filis and Dagný Brynjarsdóttir secured a 4-1 win at Bramall Lane.

Olli Harder’s side were then drawn against Reading in the fifth round – a side who had only lost one of their last ten matches in all competitions in the build-up to the game. But the Irons weathered a first-half storm from the Royals to hit back through Brynjarsdóttir, who’s fierce effort landed in the roof of the net at the end of first half injury time!

Lisa Evans scored the only goal of the game in the win over the Tractor Girls on Sunday, dispatching beyond Sarah Quantrill after a good through ball from Filis.

Who could we face?

The semi-final is an all-WSL affair.

What they’re saying

West Ham United boss, Olli Harder:

“To be honest, I don’t mind who we play, I’d just prefer the game to be at home. We’ve had three away games in the FA Cup so far, so I’d love to have a game at our place, where we’ve been strong this season.

“But we look forward to seeing who we pull out, and I’m sure it will be an exciting match.”
