West Ham fans arrive at London Stadium

Update on supporter access to London Stadium

West Ham United can provide an update to supporters on their access to London Stadium for the remainder of the 2021/22 season, following the Government’s easing of COVID-19 Autumn and Winter Plan B restrictions.

In line with the latest Government guidance, COVID passes will no longer be a condition of entry to Premier League matches.

Starting with our home match against Watford on Tuesday 8 February [LINK TO TICKETING WEBSITE], supporters will no longer be required to complete a health declaration form before the match, nor present any form of COVID certification on matchday.

West Ham United, the Premier League and its clubs continue to urge fans to follow public health guidance to keep each other safe on a matchday, including wearing face coverings when indoors or in crowded areas.

Code of Conduct remains in place and is updated to reflect the latest changes in Government and Premier League guidance. As COVID-19 restrictions ease, it is vital supporters continue to do all they can to minimise the risk of passing on COVID

Supporters should note that stadium access processes continue to remain subject to change, in line with changes to COVID protocols or guidance issued by the Government, Premier League and SGSA.

There’s still time to book your ticket for Tuesday’s game against Watford – but hurry as demand is high. Prices start from just £17.50 Juniors and £20 Adults, so make sure you’re there as we go for a Premier League double over the Hornets. You can buy now at eticketing.co.uk/whufc, calling 0333 030 1966 or visiting us at the London Stadium Ticket Office..

Digital ticketing – 2021/22 – Maintaining familiarity and flexibility

In August, the Club updated supporters that we are working towards the implementation of a digital ticket solution and, in due course, all Season Ticket Holders will be able to download a seasonal digital pass to their smartphone in order to gain access to London Stadium on matchdays

We would like to thank supporters for their patience and understanding over the first half of the season as we made the required move to digital ticketing as a result of COVID-19

With the vast majority of our match attending supporters now familiar with the current digital ticketing system, we will continue to issue tickets in the same way until the end of the 2021/22 campaign – and a full guide can be found here

Near Field Communication (NFC) technology has been installed at all turnstiles in preparation for the 2022/23 season, with the Club having trialled the technology at the Brighton & Hove Albion game in December, and incrementally at matches from now until the end of the 2021/22 campaign. We will continue to monitor turnstile entry at all matches, ensuring supporters are able to enter the stadium as quickly and easily as possible

Special arrangements remain in place for any supporters who are not able to utilise one of these methods. Simply contact the Ticket Office on 0333 030 1966, select ‘Option 2’ and the Club will personally ensure that your individual needs are met

The Club will continue to monitor all of our policies and procedures in order to remain flexible to any possible changes in COVID protocols from the authorities

Digital ticketing – 2022/23 – Brand new digital ticketing system and stadium access protocols

During the close season, the Club will use the feedback we receive from across all of our channels, including your calls, emails,  letters, survey responses, Tweets, and the discussions we have with supporters’ groups, to communicate information, FAQs and guides for supporters to ensure all fans are fully prepared with everything they need ahead of the new entry process at London Stadium in time for the 2022/23 season.

A seasonal digital pass will only need to be downloaded once for the 2022/23 campaign and will replace existing Season Ticket access cards and paper tickets for all home fixtures, including all cup ties. An email will be sent to all Season Ticket Holders during the close season that includes all the information they need to download their seasonal digital pass

The Club is also conscious that a small number of Season Ticket Holders may not have access to a smartphone and we will continue to be inclusive and make sure we do everything we can to support all of our fans. Those Season Ticket Holders who do not have access to a smartphone will be able to request a physical Stadium access card with their photograph on ahead of the 2022/23 season. More information on how to request this will be sent directly to Season Ticket Holders via email during the close season

We will continue to keep our Season Ticket holders and members updated through personal email communication and across the Club’s channels.

Thank you for your support and continued co-operation in helping to keep each other safe on matchday at London Stadium.
