For the second summer in a row, West Ham United U21s are heading to Spain as part of their pre-season preparations.
The young Hammers will be based in Jerez de la Frontera, where they will alternate between sessions in the gym and on the pitch.
With many members of the squad currently on the first team’s Sunshine State Tour, the U21s' trip to Spain will afford a handful of the U18s the opportunity to travel with the side, build relationships with their older teammates, all while gaining valuable experience against senior opposition.
The week-long training camp will give lead coach Mark Robson and his staff the chance to intensify pre-season preparations as the squad gears up for the start of the Premier League 2 campaign on Friday 16 August.
