West Ham United U21s will face Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League International Cup quarter-finals on Friday 23 February.
The Hammers will welcome the Seagulls to Rush Green Stadium with kick-off set for 7pm.
After winning three out of four Group B matches, Steve Potts’ side reached the knockout stage for the first time, finishing two points behind Brighton, who won all four of their fixtures in the group stages.
West Ham U21’s are currently second in the Premier League 2 table after an impressive start to the campaign, while Brighton & Hove Albion sit seventh.
The Irons last faced Brighton almost a year ago to the day, where they prevailed 3-2 in a five-goal thriller.
Quick-fire second half goals from Kamarai Swyer and Divin Mubama put the Irons in command, before Joshua Duffus’ effort handed the visitors a lifeline.
Mubama restored the Hammers’ two-goal lead after 84 minutes to seal victory, despite a late consolation from Mark O’Mahony.
The quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will be single-leg contests consisting of 90 minutes, with extra-time and a penalty shootout used as needed.
Ticket information will be confirmed and announced on whufc.com in due course.
