West Ham United U21s will face EFL League Two side Colchester United on Friday 28 July as part of the side's 2023/24 Premier League 2 pre-season preparations.
Mark Robson's young Hammers will head to Essex next month, with kick-off set for 7.30pm against Ben Garner's men.
Colchester United finished 20th last season, taking 49 points, including 12 wins, across a hard-fought campaign in which they secured their EFL status.
The fixture will also mark a return to the club Dan Chesters spent the first half of the 2022/23 season on loan at.
Meanwhile Colchester United players Will Greenidge, who joined the U’s in January, Ossama Ashley, Jayden Fevrier and Freddie Sears are all products of the Academy of Football and could feature against their former side.
