West Ham United U18s will travel to the Select Car Leasing Stadium to take on Reading in the U18 Premier League Cup final on Tuesday 22 April at 7pm.
Lauris Coggin’s young Hammers earned a spot in the knockout stages as one of seven group winners, with victories over Nottingham Forest and Southampton and a draw away to Everton. Having reached the quarter-finals for the first time last season, the U18s have gone even further this time around.
West Ham knocked out Premier League North title chasers Manchester United on penalties following a thrilling 2-2 draw at Rush Green in the quarter-finals, before brushing aside Derby County in the semi-finals with a 3-1 away win, securing their place in their first Premier League Cup final.
Our opponents Reading have also reached the final of this competition for the first time. They advanced from their group as winners by virtue of goals scored, having recorded away wins against Blackburn Rovers and West Bromwich Albion, despite a defeat by Sunderland. The Royals then edged Everton 2-1 after extra-time in the quarter-finals, before a commanding 3-0 semi-final victory away at Liverpool sealed their place in the showpiece event.
Only the West Lower Stand of the Select Car Leasing Stadium will be open to supporters. Tickets are available via Reading's official website , with advance tickets available until 3pm on the day of the game, priced as follows:
