West Ham United U18s will face Derby County in the semi-finals of the U18 Premier League Cup at 12noon on Wednesday 5 March at Moor Farm Training Ground.
Lauris Coggin’s young Hammers qualified for the last four of the competition having topped their group, with victories over Nottingham Forest and Southampton as well as a draw at Everton, before a penalty-shootout win over defending champions Manchester United in the quarter-finals.
Their opponents Derby County U18s sit third in Premier League North with one of the best goalscoring records in the country, with 73 strikes in just 22 games in all competition this season.
The young Rams qualified for the quarter-finals as group winners, with wins over Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester City, and beat Fulham 4-0 in the last eight to set up a semi-final tie against the Irons.
