West Ham United women’s team have shown their support for Level Playing Field’s ‘Unite for Access’ campaign in training ahead of their Barclays Women’s Super League match at home to Manchester City.
‘Unite for Access’ - which is running between Saturday 1 March and Sunday 16 March - is an annual period of inspiration and celebration of good access and inclusion at sports venues.
Every year, the campaign helps to recognise why watching live sport is so important to disabled supporters and what is in place to ensure access and inclusion, with fans coming together to mark the occasion.
Wednesday night's match against City is the women’s team’s dedicated ‘Unite for Access’ fixture and the players wore t-shirts to support the campaign at Chadwell Heath.
