Training Gallery | Women's team show support for DT38 Foundation

Ahead of their Barclays Women's Super League match at home to Manchester United on Saturday, West Ham United women's team have shown their support to DT38 Foundation.

Today, 18 April, marks the eleventh anniversary of the passing of Dylan Tombides, the West Ham United Academy of Football graduate and forward who lost a long and brave battle with testicular cancer in 2014, aged just 20.

To mark the anniversary of Dylan’s passing, and to raise awareness of testicular cancer, Rehanne Skinner's side wore bespoke t-shirts in training, highlighting the charity set up in Dylan’s memory, DT38.

The testicular cancer charity, DT38, was founded in his memory by Dylan's mother Tracy.

Dylan continues to be remembered with great warmth at West Ham United and the women's team paid their respects at Chadwell Heath - the place where Dylan flourished in West Ham colours.

Saturday's game against Manchester United will be the women's team's Awareness Day at Chigwell Construction Stadium for DT38, as is the men's team's match at home to Southampton at London Stadium.

You can watch the TV documentary about Dylan Tombides’ life and career at dt38.org.
