Training Gallery | Hammers prepare for Women's Super League opener

West Ham United women's team begin the 2024/25 Barclays Women's Super League campaign against Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.

The Hammers head to Old Trafford for their first outing of the new season, hoping to improve on last term's eleventh-place finish.

It will be the third time that the women's team have played at the 75,000-capacity venue, and manager Rehanne Skinner and her squad will be aiming to make a positive start to the new campaign against the Red Devils.

West Ham will be led onto the pitch by new captain Katrina Gorry and vice-captain Shelina Zadorsky, while forwards Riko Ueki and Viviane Asseyi are again set to carry the goal threat.

Skinner will have a host of new players available too, including Poland goalkeeper Kinga Szemik, Chile defender Camila Sáez, Colombia forward Manuela Paví, Switzerland midfielder Seraina Piubel and Finland international Oona Siren.
