The Hammers’ latest Premier League assignment will see Julen Lopetegui's troops aim to bounce back from last weekend's home defeat at the hands of Liverpool when they face City at Etihad Stadium.
It won’t be an easy task for the Irons against the reigning top-flight champions, despite their indifferent recent form. West Ham have won at the Etihad just once in our last 18 visits in all competitions, with our last eight Premier League trips to Manchester City all ending in home wins, while we have scored just five goals in total in those matches.
Lopetegui’s charges will now be looking to buck that trend and put on the kind of performance that helped us go four games unbeaten during December, as we aim to work our way towards the top half of a congested Premier League table.
