West Ham United Women head into their final Barclays Women’s Super League match of 2022 looking to get back to winning ways.
The Irons were disappointing in their recent outing, a 2-0 defeat away to Liverpool, and Paul Konchesky will be hoping that his team will be able to bounce back in this London derby.
Indeed, both sides are looking to get back on track, with Spurs losing last weekend, 1-0 away to Reading.
Both sides have ambitions of finishing as best of the rest come the end of the season, whilst they will both be looking to finish the calendar year strongly.

Travel…
The Breyer Group Stadium is a ten minute walk from Leyton Underground Station, which is situated on the Central line. It is just one stop from Stratford, which has connections to the Jubilee line, TFL Rail, Docklands Light Railway, London Overground and various National Rail Services.
Leyton is an 11 minute journey by Tube from London Liverpool Street and is also easily accessible from other London mainline stations such as Kings Cross St Pancras, Euston, Waterloo, Victoria and Paddington. Click here to visit Transport for London’s Journey Planner.
Walking to Brisbane Road will take less than 10 minutes. Upon exit from the station turn right out of the station and follow Leyton High Road for approximately 450 metres until Coronation Gardens is on your left. Turn down Buckingham Road after the park and the ground will be in front of you.
If using the London Overground, Leyton Midland Road is approximately a 15 minute walk from the stadium. From Leyton Midland Road, turn left towards Leyton and continue down the High Road past Leyton County Cricket Ground until you reach Osborne Road. Turn down Osborne Road and the East Stand is in front of you.
For those travelling by car, please use the postcode E10 5NF. Please note there is no public parking available at Brisbane Road. Being located in a highly residential area, there is also extremely limited parking in the immediate area around the stadium. Many surrounding roads are for permit holders only and there are limited parking options elsewhere. If you do intend to drive to the match, please take care to avoid penalty fines when parking by reading signage.
Team News
Heading into the weekend’s fixture, Paul Konchesky has no new injury concerns. Jess Ziu, Lucy Parker and Emma Snerle are all recovering from longer-term injuries and are all confirmed as unavailable.
The Opposition
Tottenham Hotspur finished best of the rest in the Barclays Women’s Super League last season, finishing the season in 5th placed – five points above the Hammers.
The Lilywhites have aspirations of breaking into the top four under the stewardship of Rehanne Skinner, who has been in charge of the side since November 2020 and was nominated for the WSL Manager of the Season last term.
This season, Tottenham are a distance away from their ambitions of breaking into the big four and go into the match against the Hammers having lost their last two WSL fixtures. They sit three points behind Konchesky’s side, albeit with a game in hand.
Ashleigh Neville and Drew Spence are their top scorers in the league so far this season with three goals apiece, and are likely to be key to the battle in east London on Sunday.
Meanwhile, there are two familiar faces in the Spurs squad, with Goalkeeper, Rebecca Spencer and midfielder Cho So-hyun both appearing for the Club in the WSL.
