West Ham United defender Thilo Kehrer has joined AS Monaco on loan until the end of the 2023/24 season, with a view to making the transfer permanent in the summer.
The Germany international returns to Ligue 1 with Monaco sitting third in the table at the mid-season break and heading to RC Lens for a Coupe de France round of 64 tie this weekend.
Kehrer has made 50 appearances since joining the Hammers from another Ligue 1 club, Paris Saint-Germain, in summer 2022, including one as a substitute in the UEFA Europa Conference League final victory over Fiorentina last June. However, the 27-year-old has made just two starts and 12 appearances this season.
Everyone at West Ham wishes Thilo the best for his loan spell in the Principality of Monaco.
