James Ward-Prowse returns to the starting line-up for West Ham United’s final home game of the Premier League campaign against Luton Town to make his 50th appearance for the Club, in the only change from last Sunday’s disappointing defeat at Chelsea.
The England international comes in for Edson Álvarez to make his 33rd Premier League start of the season, after featuring off the bench in the Hammers’ last two outings against Liverpool and Chelsea.
Having thrived in his first season in Claret and Blue following a move from Southampton, midfielder Ward-Prowse will be looking to add to his productive campaign in terms of 17 goal contributions.
In front of him, top scorer Jarrod Bowen could better Paolo Di Canio’s Premier League record for the most West Ham goals in a single season, which would also see him register his 100th goal involvement for the Hammers in the process.
Forward Michail Antonio has scored three goals in his last four games in all competitions, and he will be hoping to continue his impressive recent run of form.
Mohammed Kudus, who made his Hammers debut against Luton in the reverse fixture in September, will be looking to cap a successful first season in England, which has seen him score 13 goals and record five assists in all competitions.
Tomáš Souček and Lucas Paqueta will join the aforementioned Ward-Prowse in midfield, ahead of Emerson, captain Kurt Zouma, Angelo Ogbonna and Vladimír Coufal in defence.
Goalkeeper Alphonse Areola keeps his spot between the sticks, and will be aiming to rediscover his clean sheet success and keep a first since West Ham’s 0-0 draw with Brighton on 2 January.
Joining Álvarez on the substitutes' bench is Academy of Football graduates Divin Mubama, George Earthy and Kaelan Casey, as well as Łukasz Fabiański, Aaron Cresswell, Danny Ings, Ben Johnson and Maxwel Cornet.
For Luton, former Hammers defender Reece Burke starts at the back, while midfielder Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu is named among the substitutes.
