West Ham United Head Coach Graham Potter has made two changes to his starting XI for Sunday’s Premier League fixture at Liverpool.
Greece international centre-back Dinos Mavropanos and Spanish midfielder Carlos Soler will both feature from the start at Anfield, in place of Edson Álvarez and Tomáš Souček.
Mavropanos is back in the starting XI after making a substitute appearance in last Saturday’s 2-2 home draw with AFC Bournemouth as Potter reverts to a back five.
Meanwhile, Soler, who joined on loan from Paris Saint-Germain last summer, comes back into the side to make his first Premier League start since the home defeat to Brentford in mid-February.
Otherwise, Potter has selected the same nine players who started the draw at London Stadium eight days ago.
So, Alphonse Areola therefore continues in goal and makes his 58th Premier League appearance for the Club.
The Frenchman has conceded just five goals in his last seven Premier League matches, keeping two clean sheets.
Ahead of him, Mavropanos is joined in the central defensive three by Maximilian Kilman and Jean-Clair Todibo, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Ollie Scarles fill the wing-back berths.
The midfield will be anchored by James Ward-Prowse, who played his part in Liverpool’s only reverse on home turf this term while on loan at Nottingham Forest. He will be partnered by Soler.
Lucas Paquetá and Mohammed Kudus will provide the creativity and flair in the attacking third alongside captain Jarrod Bowen, who has been directly involved in six of West Ham's last seven goals against the Reds in all competitions, scoring three and assisting three.
Niclas Füllkrug, who notched his first West Ham goal on home turf against Bournemouth last weekend, is among the nine substitutes named by Potter.
Alongside Füllkrug will be goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański, defenders Vladimír Coufal and Emerson, midfielders Álvarez, Souček and Guido Rodríguez, and forwards Luis Guilherme and Evan Ferguson.
