West Ham United women’s team can confirm Shannon Cooke has joined Birmingham City on loan until the end of the season.
The defender links up with the current Barclays Women’s Championship table-toppers to help them on their quest of promotion to the top flight.
Cooke, 24, joined the Hammers in January 2023 following four-and-a-half years with Louisiana State University (LSU) Tigers in the United States of America, having previously been at Barclays Women’s Super League side Arsenal.
The centre-back has made 37 appearances for the Club, scoring once - a last-minute equaliser away at Aston Villa in the 2023/24 campaign.
