Sunday's Premier League 2 match between Liverpool U21s and West Ham United U21s has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
A pitch inspection at Kirkby Academy this morning determined that the playing surface would not be fit to host the fixture on Sunday 12 January at 12noon due to a frozen pitch and significant snowfall.
A date for a rearranged tie will be confirmed in due course.
At the halfway stage in the regular season, West Ham United U21s sit thirteenth in the standings, three points safe of the play-off cut-off point, albeit with at least a game in hand on the teams around them.
