West Ham United women's team returned to the historic Chadwell Heath Training Ground for the first time since the end of May as they got back to work ahead of the new season!
The members of the squad not involved in international action for their countries at the Olympic Games this summer reported back for duty on Tuesday morning, as preparations for the 2024/25 Barclays Women's Super League campaign begin.
New signing Kinga Szemik joined the likes of Amber Tysiak, Jess Ziu, Anouk Denton and Shannon Cooke for the first day back at the training ground, while Dagný Brynjarsdóttir was also at Chadwell Heath, accompanied by her son Andreas.
The Irons' work towards the their WSL opener away at Manchester United, which will be played across the weekend of 21/22 September, starts here with an exciting pre-season schedule in prospect.
As part of those pre-season plans, Rehanne Skinner's side will be heading to Perth, Australia, in just over three weeks' time. The Hammers will face Paris Saint-Germain and one of Manchester City or Leicester City across two games in the inaugural Perth International Football Cup.
