Forty-five days after West Ham United's 2023/24 campaign came to an end at Manchester City, preparations for 2024/25 began in earnest at our Rush Green training base.
The West Ham United players not involved in international action for their countries this summer reported back for duty on Wednesday, getting to work under new head coach Julen Lopetegui for the first time.
Summer signings Luis Guilherme and Wes Foderingham joined the likes of Kurt Zouma, Emerson, James Ward-Prowse and Danny Ings at the Hammers' training ground, where Flynn Downes - fresh from helping Southampton earn promotion to the Premier League during his loan spell at St Mary's - was also back in Claret and Blue.
The Irons' work towards the Premier League season opener, at home to Aston Villa on Saturday 17 August, begins here with an exciting pre-season in prospect.
After taking on Dagenham & Redbridge at Chigwell Construction Stadium on Saturday 20 July, Lopetegui and his squad will jet off to the United States for the Sunshine State Tour, where they will take on fellow Premier League sides Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace. Tickets are available for our games in Florida here.
The Hammers will then return home for the Betway Cup on Saturday 10 August, when Lopetegui will lead his side at London Stadium for the first time against Spanish side Celta Vigo.
Season Ticket Holders and Bondholders can purchase their tickets for the visit of Celta here!
