West Ham United fell to a narrow defeat at Liverpool on Sunday, but there was plenty of encouragement to be taken from their performance.
Sadio Mané's 27th minute goal ultimately proved to be the difference in a closely-contested game at Anfield.
Liverpool had the majority of the ball, but West Ham had their chances and could well have come home with a point.
Pablo Fornals had a shot cleared off the line by Trent Alexander-Arnold, while Manuel Lanzini fired over when well placed, but the Hammers could not find a way past Alisson in the home goal.
