Inspired by our iconic east London home and uniting Hammers all over the world, West Ham United is proud to unveil the Club’s Umbro Third Kit for the 2023/24 season, which is available to buy now by clicking here.
This year’s navy blue strip features a triangulated lattice pattern which immediately recognises the emblematic floodlight design at London Stadium, a theme echoed in the sky-blue triangle details at the V-neck collar and sleeves.
Those world-famous floodlights shone on the golden achievements of Britain’s track and field Olympians in 2012, and last season, lit up the glory nights which saw West Ham march to European glory in Prague.
With fans still beaming from an historic win, the launch film for the Third Kit celebrates that unforgettable moment while also paying tribute to loyal Hammers fans all around the world who come together week after week to support their team through thick and thin.
Narrated by West Ham fan, Hollywood actor and star of ‘The Woman King’, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, the film describes the emotion of those matchday moments shared by Hammers fans – wherever they are across the globe.
Separated by time zones, but united in glory, the spine-tingling videos featured in the film show that support for West Ham United truly extends over every land and every sea.
As Hero says in his narration: “Everywhere we go, wherever we may be, the architecture of our hearts stretches over land and sea.”
To accompany the film is a gallery of global fans wearing the new Over Land And Sea kit, including Brawley Darbon of the official supporters club, St Louis Hammers:
“It’s an absolute honour to be asked to be a part of a kit launch, and especially one that is celebrating our home in east London. As international supporters, being a part of this launch has made us see how much the Club appreciates us and respects our commitment.
"Our group usually meet at the Amsterdam Tavern in St. Louis, Missouri to watch every game. Even though we may be six hours behind you all in London, we’re still able to wake up early, have a few drinks together, sing our songs, and get behind the boys. We wouldn’t have it any other way!”
