Lewis Orford and Josh Briggs have been shortlisted for the February Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.
Orford has enjoyed an incredible campaign so far and has been instrumental in the young Hammers’ ongoing seven-game winning streak in Premier League 2, having scored one goal and registered two assists for Mark Robson’s side in February.
The 19-year-old was also handed his first-team debut in January, impressing in our defeat to Crystal Palace before he was entrusted by Graham Potter as a second-half substitute at Chelsea at the beginning of February.
It is the second time this season that the midfielder has been in the running for the monthly prize.

Briggs, meanwhile, is nominated for the award for the first time after he impressed in defence during February.
The Northern Ireland youth international was tested after he was moved up to the U21s squad as a regular last month, and he excelled, playing the full 90 minutes against each of Arsenal, Blackburn Rovers, Reading and Derby County, with all of February's four games yielding three points, with just one goal conceded.
Other nominees for the award include Logan Briggs (Leicester City), Lemar Gordon (Fulham), Divin Mubama (Manchester City), Ademola Ola-Adebomi (Crystal Palace), Jay Robinson (Southampton) and Jahmai Simpson-Pusey (Manchester City).
The nominees have been selected by the Premier League Football Development Panel, who will also decide the winner, with the result set to be announced at 10am on Friday 14 March.
