Defender Angelo Ogbonna has been presented with a Premier League milestone award after making his 200th top-flight appearance away to Chelsea at the start of May.
In the third of four consecutive starts for the Hammers, the former Italy international completed the full 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge, towards the end of his ninth season with the Club.
A July 2015 signing from Serie A giants Juventus, Ogbonna made his Premier League bow in a 2-0 win at Arsenal a month later, and in total featured 28 times as Slaven Bilić’s side secured a top-seven finish and European qualification in the final season at the Boleyn Ground.
His first Premier League goal would arrive during the 2017/18 campaign, in a narrow 2-1 defeat at Manchester City, while his two strikes in 31 appearances contributed to him finishing runner-up in the 2019/20 Hammer of the Year award.
After featuring against Chelsea earlier this month, Ogbonna made one further league outing in 2023/24, at home to Luton Town, taking his overall tally to 13 goals in 249 games in all competitions for the Claret and Blue Army.
Everyone at West Ham United would like to congratulate Angelo on reaching his latest career milestone!
